Owen Loves balls. It was one of his first words, one of those that he figured out after only hearing it once. Charlie's Dad is always saying that Owen is going to be into sports. And I always laugh. How sad would that be, he would grow up saying, "my parents never understood me. I had to hide in my room in order to secretly watch my football games." Of course I would support him no matter what he wanted to do. But how excited can I really get about sports??
Of course, Owen's other favorite thing is Star Wars. So there's still a chance he'll be one of those guys who live in their mom's basement forever dressed like a Storm Trooper. Here's hoping.

Yeah, storm troopers. If you are gonna dream, dream big!
I've thought about this a lot. And decided that maybe i would be the best kind of soccer mom. Not the super controlling, obsessive kind who insists they win. Cuz I wouldn't care.
yeah...Owen will say "my parents forced me to play xbox with them" or "yeah on christmas I wanted a ice jockey equipment, instead they gave me a laptop"
Ooooh noooo. I think you may be creating a monster. He wont fit in with the jocks, cause he likes star wars, and wont fit in with the star wars geeks cause he likes sports. He will be all alone in the world.
Oh it is too sad.
That's too funny. I wonder if he'll have any cousins with the same interests. He might turn out ok if he has cousins who understand him.
