Today March 23rd we commemorate and remember the defense of our land. Our ancestors defended el Litoral (our hallway to the ocean). So all schools go out and march.
I was tearing up the whole time. Something about the nostalgia of the drum-line (took me back to my marching and parade band days I'll tell you what. I had a hard time not marching along) and seeing my little teeny Lydia, so proudly waving her little flag. It was so fun and I'm so glad she got to do it.

Do they wear those uniforms all the time, or just for the march?
they wear the uniforms for P.E. and for some other events like marching. students can wear any other clothing for normal school days.
